NOIDAD: ICAN4-the world’s first 10-day live digital international conference – the second edition 2021 is ready to discuss, deliberate and analyze various problems, concepts and opinions on the topic of information, Communication and Artificial Networks 01 July 2021. This is the fourth time that DME Media School hosts this prestigious international press conference and the second time in a fully online form amid the Covid pandemic19.
ICAN is the result of a collaboration between DME Media School, NOIDA, and Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. The conference is supported by 4 knowledge partners – Adamas University, Kolkata, KRMangalam University, Gurugram, National University of Journalism and Communication MakhanlalChaturvedi, Bhopal and VigyanPrasar, Government of India. Department of Communication and Journalism, Gauhati University, Guwahati is an academic partner and Institute for International Journalism, EW Scripps School of Journalism, Ohio University, USA is an international partner for the conference. The Policy Times, New Delhi is the conference media partner.
This conference will witness 36 live sessions, including 9 technical sessions, 3 workshops, 7 panel discussions, 3 special sessions and 10 master classes. About 100 abstracts / articles have been received from different regions of the country and the authors will have presentations in technical sessions. A large number of academics will join the brainstorming sessions from five continents and 11 countries, namely India, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Bangladesh, United States, Mexico, France, Italy, Australia and Ghana.
I CAN4 will be joined by iconic figures such as Prof. Ujjwal K Chowdhury, pro-vice-chancellor, Adamas University, Kolkata; Teacher. Previously, DME Media School has successfully organized three editions of ICAN. The first edition India and new aspects of the news– ICAN was organized on March 9, 10 and 11, 2018; the second edition Indian cinema and alternative networks– I CAN2 took place on November 16, 17 and 18, 2018, and the third edition on Community, calendar and news issues took place from June 21 to June 30, 2020.
