Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor in Media Arts and Design (Ref: DCC220211)
The Media Arts and Design program seeks candidates with expertise in the following areas: interactive design, 3D design, digital imagery and design, 2D and 3D animation, interactive media, etc. The successful candidate must also be qualified to teach academic courses. in arts and design. In addition to creative practice and academic research, the candidate will be responsible for supervising, facilitating field trips, tutoring and mentoring students, and academic promotion.
Candidates must have a PhD or Masters in Design or Fine Arts with extensive work experience in a related discipline for more than 5 years. Applicants should be familiar with the academic theories and practices of the related art and design discipline. A good command of English and/or Chinese both in oral and written communication is required. A good research background is preferred. Candidates must be cooperative, patient and enthusiastic, at the same time they must be able to work under pressure with good problem-solving skills.

Benefits and appointment conditions
Appointment to this position will initially be on a two-year fixed-term contract. Starting salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience.
